WELCOMING OUT among the Top 3 at the Impact of Diversity Award

We’re proud to share that WELCOMING OUT was named one of the top three projects in the Contribution to LGBTQIA+ category at this year’s Impact of Diversity Award.
While we didn’t take home the first prize, being a finalist is a strong recognition of our work – and a powerful sign that visibility and acceptance matter.

Our Managing Director Markus Hoppe attended the award ceremony in Munich and used the opportunity not only to represent WELCOMING OUT, but also to connect with potential new PATRONS and key voices from politics, business, and the LGBTQIA+ community.

A particular highlight: inspiring conversations with Ferda Ataman, head of the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency, and musician Malik Harris – both of whom we invited to join our movement as testimonials.

We’re grateful for the visibility – and welcome everyone who wants to support a world where coming out is free of fear.
